Raising three small kids as a full-time mom now, she is often inspired to add the sense of casualness, energy and brightness to her works. Experienced the lowest in life, and also witnessed how stress caused mental turbulence and disorders in people around her, the mission of her works now is to bring joy and hope to the surroundings, remind people of having rest in their souls, and return to the true identity each person is created as.
Jass' body of work does not limit to paintings, she produces daily life products which brighten up the space with her arts, and looking forward to participate in more projects that interact with the community.
Artist Story
Unlike most of her fellow BFA classmates, Jass Mia began her professional artistic journey only after she realized the connection between arts and spirituality.
Her faith in God started when she was a teenager, deeply touched by God's love, she would like to share the gospel with as much people as she could. Having a heart for the people's souls, Jass Mia once decided to be a full time missionary worker thus quitted her childhood dream of being an artist. However, she was called back to her destiny to creative works in the lowest point of her life.
Since then, she has been making paintings of spiritual meanings and participated in gospel mural projects and Christian media projects.
